Hello my fellow bloggers!  Wanted to give a quick update of where I am and where I am going!  Since my last blog I have been staying busy.  I moved out of my apartment and into my friend Stephs house for the last couple of weeks I was in Colorado. My last weeks in Colorado were filled with fun, friends, family and sweet fellowship!  Always hard to say goodbye for an extended period of time to the people you love most, to your favorite places, the beauty and serenity of the Rocky Mountains, and the memories that have accumulated over the past six years of my life.  But saying goodbye to a season I have, and am greatly welcoming a new one!

Last week I was in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love.  It was a great time of ministering with the youth group that was there that week, hanging out with old friends and making new ones!  There were a couple unexpected people I have known from past AIM projects there, which made it even more fun than expected.  One day Travis set up for he and i and two kids from Kensington to float down the Delaware River!  It was a marvelous day!  The kids were scared to go into the river at first, but once they discovered they could float with their lifejackets, they were like little fish!

Since Philly I have been visiting with my family in Dansville New York.  We have enjoyed the usual favorite activities like going to the outlet mall, getting my hair done by Dawn, eating pie and ice cream, the Wayland Potato Festival and tractor pulls, going to the movies and renting more.  I have had a great time here, being spoiled by my mother one last time for the year.  I leave on Tuesday to go down to Birmingham, or the "ham" as the locals like to call it to visit friends of mine the Tews, by Friday I will be in Gainesville, training for South Africa.  I will be in new staff/ leader training with AIM until September 10th.  I have a day off and then the FYM students arrive for training on the 12th.
And then we leave for Africa on the 19th!

Kind of an unexciting blog, but wanted to let you know my plan for the upcoming month!  My phone is still on so please call me anytime before I leave, I would love to chat!

Things you could be praying for with the next month in mind:

  • Headaches
  • A continous humbled and teachable spirit.
  • A genuine passion and revival for what the Lord holds.

Celebrating Grandma's 80th!

Mikey and I celebrating at Nathan and Cate's wedding!

Philadelphia!
